Ephesians 4:11-13
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Today’s Prayer
Gracious God, we approach you with gratitude for the wisdom you have given us.
We acknowledge the divine intention behind the roles of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers within the Church. Each of these gifts, bestowed by your grace, serves a specific purpose in building up and equipping your people.
Lord, we pray for those who hold leadership roles within the Church. May apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers be filled with your wisdom and discernment as they guide and instruct your people. Grant them a deep understanding of your Word and a heart of compassion as they minister to the needs of the community.
As these leaders work to equip believers for works of service, may the Church experience unity and maturity in the faith. Help us, as members of the body of Christ, to recognize and appreciate the diverse gifts and roles within the community. May we actively participate in the collective mission, contributing our unique strengths and talents for the edification of the whole.
Lord, may the Church grow in unity, becoming a beacon of light and hope in a world that desperately needs your love. Empower us to live out the calling you have placed on our lives, working together for the advancement of your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
